Avara Digital Privacy Policy

Avara Digital LLC ("Avara Digital," "we," "us") builds and hosts websites for local trade and service businesses on a monthly subscription. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

It covers our website at avaradigital.com, the preview websites we build for prospective customers, our phone calls, text messages and emails, and the services we provide to paying customers.

Information we collect

• Public business information. Your business name, services, service area, phone number, reviews and similar details from public sources such as your Google Business Profile. We use this to build your preview website.
• Contact information. Your name, phone number and email address, collected when we call you, when you request a call, or when you contact us.
• Consent records. When you agree to receive text messages, we record that you agreed, the date and time, and the representative you spoke with.
• Communications. Records of our calls, texts and emails with you, including replies and opt-out requests.
• Website usage. Basic information about visits to our website and preview sites, such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, device type and approximate location.
• Customer information. If you become a customer: your plan, billing details, domain information and the content of your website. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

How we use information

• Build and show you a preview website for your business.
• Contact you by phone, text and email about your preview site and our services, as described below.
• Provide, support and bill for our services if you become a customer.
• Keep records of consent and opt-out requests, and honor them.
• Improve our websites and services, and protect against fraud and misuse.
• Comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messaging

We text you only after you agree to it, usually by saying yes when one of our representatives asks during a phone call. Our texts are about your preview website and our services, such as the link to your site and a few follow-ups.

• Frequency: message frequency varies.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@avaradigital.com.
• Not required: agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy, and will not be shared with or sold to any third party. Our text messaging provider processes messages only to deliver them on our behalf.

How we share information

We share information only in these cases, and never including text messaging opt-in data or consent:

• Service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, databases, email delivery, phone and text delivery, and payment processing. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, our customers or others.
• Business transfers, if Avara Digital is merged, acquired or sells its assets, subject to this policy.

Keeping your information

We keep information as long as we need it for the purposes above. We keep records of text message consent and opt-outs for at least four years. Unclaimed preview websites are taken down after the preview period ends.

Your choices

• Texts: reply STOP at any time.
• Calls: ask us not to call you, and we will add you to our internal do-not-call list.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Access, correction or deletion: email us at info@avaradigital.com. We may keep some records, such as opt-outs, where we need them to honor your choices or comply with the law.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is completely secure.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the effective date above.
